You’ve likely heard countless times that reaching out to someone already working at a company for advice can make a difference in your job application.
But when you're new here and lack work experience, that can feel nearly impossible and sometimes uncomfortable. This event is your chance to get “inside information” of your own and get a step ahead.
Build your career in Oslo featuring Speed Networking
Organized by Welcome to Oslo, this event is designed specifically for internationals looking to get their foot in the door and find job opportunities in Oslo. The event will begin with mingling and talks that introduce job search practices in Oslo, providing a solid foundation to build on.
After the talks, the speed-networking session will give you a unique opportunity to gain insider perspectives on the Norwegian job market. You'll have exclusive access to career experts, insider tips on how companies approach hiring, and the chance to network with globally-minded companies.
📅 Date: 20 November
🕛 Time: 12:00 to 17:00 (but there is also an afterwork to join!)
📍 Location: Mesh Youngstorget, Møllergata 6 and 8, 0179
The event will begin and conclude with mingling—starting with a chance to meet organizations and ending with informal networking and food.
In between, participants will enjoy insightful talks and a speed networking session.
Stay for the afterwork!
The event continues with an afterwork hangout at MESH from 17:00 to 20:00. Oslo Business Region is hosting an after-event with music and complimentary food - bring some more friends for this!
