There are plenty of places in and near Oslo where you can ski at the moment, and we highly recommend getting out and test the various alpine ski centers. All research says that nature is good for you!

Have you heard the saying that Norwegians are born with skiis on their feet? 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

Several of the ski resorts and hills in the Oslo region are perfect for beginners and will offer courses for newbies, while others are more remote and may even be close to more advanced randonée routes. All within 2 hours from Oslo!

Regardless of your ski level, there are great alpine ski centers options for you in the Oslo Region, see the complete overview in the list below.

Confused about where these alpine and ski centers are located? Check out our map (link)! 🗺

Three reasons for why down hill skiing is good for you!

  1. Downhill skiing is a great way to get some physical exercise while having fun. It's an excellent cardiovascular workout, and you can also work different muscle groups depending on the type of terrain and skiing style.
  2. Downhill skiing is a great way to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You can enjoy the peace and quiet of the slopes while getting some fresh air and a beautiful view.
  3. Pro tip! Downhill skiing is a great way to socialize and make new friends. Whether you’re skiing with family and friends or joining a ski school, you’ll be able to meet new people and make connections.
