Are you facing a talent shortage in your company and are you currently or planning to recruit internationally? Perhaps you need something "new" in your onbaording process, that will make your employee and their family stay in the Oslo region?

We have exciting news for you!

In collaboration with partners in Søndre Østfold, Lillestrøm, Kongsberg, and Umbrella, we are thrilled to announce the establishment of the International Dual Career Network (IDCN).
It is a proven concept of getting spouses and partners into jobs, so that your hires will stay and thrive.

Let's get them into jobs!

Our purpose is simple yet ambitious: we want to support internationals living in the Oslo region, make sure they get access to the Norwegian job market, and finds meaningful work and a sense of belonging here with us.

We understand that job opportunities for partners are a critical factor in both recruitment and retaining foreign talent. Therefore, we extend our assistance to help them find jobs in Norway.

Join the digital information session on December 13, from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM and learn more about what the program can do for you and your employees.

During this event, we will provide detailed information about the program and address any questions you may have.

Register here, and we will send you a personalized invitation to the meeting.
We look forward to sharing more about this exciting initiative and hope you can join us!

Why your company should join IDCN Oslo Region:

  1. Employer branding: Showcase your commitment to supporting partner/spouse's career development, reinforcing your employer brand.
  2. Enhanced employer attractiveness: Strengthen your position in the recruitment process by demonstrating concern for the careers of your employees' partners.
  3. Regional reputation: Illustrate your dedication to the community by advertising available positions for partners and fostering community growth.
  4. Increased employee satisfaction: Provide partners with a sense of security and prolong their tenure within your organization.
  5. Access to a broad network: Connect with potential candidates from across the Oslo region area.
  6. Contributing to diversity and inclusion: Play a vital role in enhancing the region's diversity and inclusivity by assisting more partners in securing employment.
  7. Fostering a sense of purpose: involvement supports partners' mental health and overall well-being and creates a better connection to Norway.

Statistics on partner/spouse

On average, international talent will stay for ten years if their partner/spouse finds meaningful work, but only three years if they are unable to get on to the job market.

Invest in the spouse/partner, you are investing in your company (statistics from Denmark)

Thank you - financing

The project is financed by Viken County Municipality, and the Osloregionen IPR and the municipalities in Søndre Østfold (especially Halden), Lillestrøm and Kongsberg, Umbrella, and International Dual Career Network (IDCN) are partners.

The partners contribute their own time.
